The CPN-UML State 1 Committee has recommended to the Central Committee to expel Durga Prasai, a central member of the party.
The UML state committee meeting has recommended to the central committee to expel Prasai, who is also a medical professional, for activities against the party’s policy and principles.
UML central member Prasain inaugurated the ‘Civil Rescue Campaign’ in Mechinagar-6 with the participation of former king Gyanendra Shah and his son Paras on February 1. Former queen Komal Shah, former prince Paras, former princess Shitasham Shah participated in the program along with the former king. He was criticized for organizing the program in collaboration with the Rajabadi and Hindu extremists without informing the party.
Rajendra Gautam, in-charge of UML Province 1 Committee, informed that after Durga Prasai started presenting against the policy and principles of the party, anti-constitutional and advocating monarchy, an opinion with action has been recommended to the Central Committee.
