Nepal started chasing the challenge of 286 runs given by Namibia-NewsNepal24

In the first match of the ICC Cricket World Cup League Two series, Namibia challenged Nepal by 286 runs. Namibia scored 285 runs in the scheduled 50 overs in the ongoing match at the Trivi Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Kathmandu.

Nepal has started following the challenge given by Namibia. Till the time of preparing this news, Nepal has added 3 runs after losing one wicket at the end of 2 overs.

Namibia, who lost the toss and were invited to bat, gave Nepal a challenge of 286 runs with Michael van Leegen’s 133 and captain Gerhard Erasmus adding 56 runs.

Karan KC took 5 wickets, Sandeep Lamichhane 3 wickets and Sompal Kami and Kushal Malla took one wicket each for Nepal in an attempt to contain Namibia cheaply.
