Kathmandu. After defeating Bangladesh by 3-0 sets, Nepal has entered the semi-finals of the NSC-Kava Women’s Volleyball Challenge Cup 2023.
In the Challenge Cup, Nepal, which is in Group A, registered a 25-10, 25-8, 25-9 victory over Bangladesh in its second match. Along with this, the home team entered the semi-finals one match earlier. Nepal scored 6 points after defeating Kyrgyzstan in the first match.
From this group, India secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Kyrgyzstan to reach the final four. India defeated Kyrgyzstan 27-17, 25-8, 25-8. The group winners and runners-up will be determined by today’s match between Nepal and India. Kyrgyzstan and Bangladesh will now compete for the top spot.
Similarly, in the Group B match, Kazakhstan managed to win 3-1 sets against Sri Lanka in a very competitive match. Kazakhstan won the first and second sets by 25-16, 28-26 and handed over the third set to Sri Lanka by 18-25. Similarly, the fourth set was won by Kazakhstan 29-27. In addition, Kazakhstan has 6 points. Kazakhstan defeated Maldives in the first match.
