In the finals of the South Asian Football Federation (SAF) Women’s U-20 Championship football tournament, Nepal had to settle for second place.
Bangladesh had to settle for the second place in the final match at Bir Shrestha Shahid Sipahi Mustafa Kamal Stadium in Dhaka. On Thursday evening, Nepal lost 3-0 against home team Bangladesh.
Bangladesh scored the first goal in the 41st minute and the second goal in the 86th minute. On top of that, after scoring one more goal in the injury time, Bangladesh became the winner of the women’s SAFF champion.
Nepal, which defeated India, and Bangladesh, which reached the final after defeating Bhutan, reached the final.
