Kathmandu. Nepal is currently batting against Kuwait in the semi-final match of the ACC Premier Cup cricket tournament.
After losing the toss at the cricket ground of Tribhuvan University in Kirtipur, Nepal was invited to bat. Kuwait captain Mohammad Aslam won the toss and chose to field first. Nepal became the winner of group ‘A’ and Kuwait entered the semi-finals as the runner-up of group ‘B’.
Nepal’s playing-11 consists of captain Rohit Kumar Paudel, Kushal Bhurtel, Dipendra Singh Airi, Asif Sheikh, Kushal Malla, Arif Sheikh, Sompal Kami, Lalit Narayan Rajwanshi, Karan KC, Sandeep Lamichhane and Bhim Sarki.
Another semi-final match is being played between Oman and United Arab Emirates (UAE). The match is being held at Mulpani Cricket Ground. In the match against UAE, Oman won the toss and decided to field first. -Rasus
