Jeep accident: 2 dead, 6 injured

Two people died in a jeep accident last night in KI Singh Rural Municipality-1 Loli of Doti.

In the accident, 36-year-old jeep driver Govind Shahi of KI Singh Rural Municipality-1 Dumrakot and 41-year-old Dhan Bahadur Tiruwa of Ward No. 2 Jarambhadi of the same rural municipality died on the spot, police said. According to Police Inspector Lakshmiraj Joshi of District Police Office Doti, six more people were injured in the accident.

According to the police, 27-year-old Tej Tiruwa of KI Singh Rural Municipality-1 Dumrakot and 26-year-old Radha Tiruwa of the same place were seriously injured. Similarly, 4-year-old boy Sameer Tiruwa of Dumrakot, 23-year-old Lakshmi Tiruwa, 19-year-old Meen Luhar and 24-year-old Suraj Tiruwa of Ward No. 2 Jarimbhadi are reported to have sustained minor injuries.

The minor injured have been sent home after rescue, while the seriously injured are being treated at Sujung Hospital in Rajpur. Supra 0123001 Ch 3329 jeep accident occurred.
