Great victory of Nepal over Scotland


Kathmandu.

Nepal won a great victory over Scotland in the ICC World Cricket League 2 match on Friday.

Nepal defeated Scotland by 3 wickets in the match at the Trivi Cricket ground in Kirtipur. The challenge of 275 runs given by Scotland was met by Nepal after losing 7 wickets in 48 overs.

With the help of Dipendra Singh Airi and Kushal Malla’s excellent batting, Nepal won against Scotland.

While Dipendra scored 85 unbeaten runs with the help of 8 fours and 1 six while playing 116 balls, Kushal scored 81 runs with 9 fours and 4 sixes while playing 67 balls.
Earlier, after losing the toss and being invited to bat, Scotland added 274 runs at the end of the full over with the cost of 9 wickets.

For Scotland, Michael Lisk was not out for 107 runs off 85 balls with 3 fours and 9 sixes.

For Nepal, Sandeep Lamichhane took 3 wickets, Kushal Malla 2 wickets, Sompal Kami, Kushal Bhurtel and Dipendra Singh Airi took 1 each.
