Bagmati State Government has decided to celebrate Republic Day, 2080 for three days by organizing various programs. In a press conference held at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law on Friday, Minister Ganganarayan Shrestha announced the schedule of organizing various programs from May 14th to 16th.
The government will organize a massive blood donation program on May 14. Minister Shrestha also said that on the morning of June 15th, there will be a Prabhatferi from Buddhachowk in Hetauda to the premises of the office of the Chief Minister and the Council of Ministers. On the same day in the evening, Diwali will be celebrated in all the ministries, offices, public and community organizations, educational institutions and agencies and the homes of the residents of the province.
Organizing a tree planting program on June 16, cleaning offices and public places under the ministry, hoisting the national flag and displaying banners by public bodies, appealing to celebrate the Republic Day in a civilized and grand manner through the media, distribution of journalism awards established in various categories to encourage active journalists in the province. Minister Shrestha said that it has been decided. On the occasion of the day, there will be interaction between representatives of political parties and civil society, he said, “Open essay competition will be organized on the topic of 15 years of the Republic, opportunities and challenges.”
