Police concluded that 33 people should be prosecuted in the case of fake Bhutanese refugees

The police has given an opinion to the public prosecutor to file a case against 33 people in the case of fake Bhutanese refugees.

It is said that the police have advised the district public prosecutor’s office in Kathmandu to prosecute those arrested on the charge of defrauding Nepali citizens by turning them into Bhutanese refugees and sending them to the United States.

According to Achyutamani Neupane, head of District Public Prosecutor’s Office, Kathmandu, after investigating the case, the police submitted a report with opinions to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, Kathmandu.

Out of the 33 people who were given an opinion to prosecute the case, the names and addresses of 30 people have been revealed and the name of one person has been revealed. The names and addresses of the other two have not been disclosed.
