The body of a missing woman has been found during the collection of Yarchagumba in Bajhang.
At around 9 o’clock this morning, five people who had gone to collect Yarchagumba were killed in an avalanche in the Dhanseri Himal region, which is under the border of Surma Rural Municipality and Saipal Rural Municipality of the district.
According to the police, 1 woman has died and 2 people have been injured in the avalanche and 2 people are missing.
A police team has been mobilized under the leadership of Inspector Janak Dhungana of the District Police Office to search for the missing persons.
