Kathmandu. Dhading’s Galchi rural municipality-8 near Galchi, a customer who came to have lunch at a hotel run in Nibuwa Bote has been stabbed to death.
On Wednesday evening, 27-year-old Vinod Thapamgar of Galchi-8 Katalpauwa, who had gone to have lunch, was stabbed to death by 28-year-old Neeraj Pandit, the owner of ‘Sandar Hotel’ in Nibuwa Bote. Police Inspector Dharmajit Thing informed that the accused was arrested at night.
It is said that after having lunch, there was an argument with the hotel owner while paying the money. The police said that after paying for the lunch, there was a fight between the two parties while taking back the remaining amount. Pandit absconded after the incident. Thapamagar died during treatment at Narvik Hospital in Kathmandu.
The police arrested Pandit and six people including his mother Saraswati. “The incident is being investigated,” said Police Inspector Thing. After the incident, the locals have closed the Galchi-Trishuli road section since last night.
