UML does not protect the corrupt: President Oli

Kathmandu.

Chairman of CPN (UML) KP Sharma Oli has made it clear that he is not in favor of the party protecting the corrupt. Addressing the first meeting of the National Youth Association of Nepal here today, he said that UML will not cover up anyone’s fault.

“UML does not cover up anyone’s guilt and crime”, President Oli said, “UML does not protect anyone who is guilty, and if anyone commits corruption, it will go away.” Even UML does not support personal corruption.” He said that if there is a conspiracy against UML, he is ready to fight it. President Oli asked why the person was released even though he was arrested a few days ago, saying that evidence should be used in the case of corruption.

He said that the police should be given a fair investigation regarding the fake Bhutanese refugees. “The guilty must be brought to justice. You should not try to trap the innocent”, he said. President Oli asked the government to take action against the culprits.
