The date of the Constitutional Council meeting was decided after Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda discussed the meeting with the leader of the main opposition party, UML President KP Sharma Oli, while the appointment of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court was not being made.
In the Constitutional Council, the leader of the main opposition party is an ex-officio member. In the previous council meeting, no decision could be made because Oli mentioned old things.
