The meeting of the old five-party Left-Democratic Alliance continues in Baluwatar


Kathmandu. Ahead of the House of Representatives and State Assembly elections, a meeting of the five-party Left Democratic Alliance was held in Baluwatar. The alliance meeting was held today (Friday) from 8 am.

The meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar. Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Centre), United Socialist Party, Janata Samajwadi Party and other parties have held a meeting.

Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba from Congress, Deputy Chairman Purna Bahadur Khadka, General Minister Gagan Thapa are also participating in the meeting, while Party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, who is also the Prime Minister from the Maoist Center, and Senior Vice President Narayan Kaji Shrestha are also participating in the meeting.

Madhav Kumar Nepal, president of United Samajwadi Party and Upendra Yadav, president of Jaspa, are also participating. The Baluwatar source said that the presidential election and the revival of the old alliance are being discussed.
