Unified Samajwadi President Madhav Kumar Nepal has reached Dhumbarahi to meet Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba. President Nepal reached Deuba Niwaw in Dhumbarahi along with Party General Secretary Beduram Bhusal and leader Ghanshyam Bhusal.
At the party’s central secretariat meeting held on Wednesday, UML president KP Sharma Oli met with UML president KP Sharma Oli for four hours, during which he briefed on the proposal of party unity.
When UML President Oli proposed to make President Nepal the President, the leader of the United Socialist Party reached Dhumbarahi to meet Congress President Deuba, who is vying for the presidency.
President Nepal Deuba said in the meeting that he could not believe in the proposal made by Oli and came to meet him.
While the party discussion is gaining momentum, leaders including senior leader Ramchandra Paudel, General Minister Gagan Thapa are sitting in Deuba residence Dhumbarahi.
