Nepal Police Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Ashok Singh has resigned. Singh reached the police headquarters today and submitted his resignation. The police head office has prepared to send the resignation to the Ministry of Home Affairs for approval.
According to sources, preparations are being made to accept Singh’s resignation today. Singh resigned after receiving a complaint that he had faked his age and got a job.
Singh was involved in a controversy after the date was found to be different between the citizenship issued by the district administration office Kailali and the citizenship submitted during the police service.
