Lions District 325 I Nepal District Governor KC Nomination Registration


Lions Club International District 325 has registered the nomination of Chandrakumar KC from Myagdi for the post of District Governor for Lion Year 2023/24 of Nepal. Along with him, Binod Dhungana of Pokhara and Parvati Kharel Pandey of Kathmandu registered as the first and second vice district governors.

Active in the Lions Campaign since 2007, Casey is the founding chairman of the Lions Club of Beni Myagdi.

Similarly, Dhungana is the founding president of the Lions Club of Pokhara Campaign, while Kharel is the former president of Kathmandu Charity.

In a ceremony held in Kathmandu on Monday, in the presence of the senior leaders of the district, three people submitted their nomination papers to the District Co-Chairperson of the First District Convention Nomination Committee of District 325 I Nepal, former District Governor Indu Lamsal, and presented their respective claims.

Senior leaders of the district including ID Endorser Balkrishna Burlakoti of Lions International, LCIF Area Leader of Lions Rajan Lamsal, District Governor of District 325 I Nepal Ram Bahadur Bassel, former Multiple Council Chairperson of Lions Multiple District 325 Mana Bahadur Roka were present in the nomination filing program.

Last year, the 4 existing districts in Nepal were redistricted into 15 districts by Lions International. District 325 B1 There were 5 districts in Nepal only since Lion year 2022/23.

Lions District 325 I Nepal’s first district convention is being held in Pokhara on February 27th. The official leadership of the district will be selected from that convention. For the next year, the district will get the district governor, the first vice district governor and the second vice district governor.

In District 325 (I) there are 12 districts including Kathmandu in Nepal with about 155 clubs and about 4 thousand members. Probably, among the 15 remaining districts in Nepal after re-districting, District 325 is the largest district in terms of I(I) clubs and members.

KC has been continuously active in Lionism for the past 16 years and is a person who has created a distinct identity and existence in terms of service, activism and contribution in important positions of the district. He has the ability to take the district to the expected heights with his planning, clarity, transparency, diligence, subject knowledge and ability and determination in any performance.
