North Korea confirmed the reliability of the weapon by firing an intercontinental ballistic missile ICBM as an unexpected exercise on Saturday, according to the official media there.
After flying for 67 minutes, the missile was dropped more than 900 kilometers in the Sea of Japan.
Pyongyang has said that through the test, the missile is capable of dealing with adversaries such as the US and South Korea.
