Kathmandu. The Ministry Budget Information System (LMBIS) has been closed during the preparation of the budget for the upcoming financial year 2080/81.
According to the Ministry of Finance, this system has been closed from Thursday to June 16 by a secretary-level decision.
The government will announce the budget for the next financial year 2080/81 in the Federal Parliament on 15th June.
LMBIS is a system developed to facilitate the preparation of all the programs decided to be implemented from government sources and the necessary budget allocation for that, while being attached to the annual budget system.
According to the ministry, the system had to be shut down during this period as the new budget had to be prepared.
