Vegetable seeds have been distributed to the farmers of Chhathar Rural Municipality of Dhankuta, which is a pocket area for vegetable production.
Jorpati rural municipality has distributed vegetable seeds to the farmers based on the demand of the farmers through the chairman’s agricultural program.
According to the agriculture branch of Chhathar Jorpati, the municipality is distributing potato, onion, garlic, cabbage and other vegetable seeds to the farmers through cooperatives based on the demand of the farmers in all the wards of the rural municipality.
Farmers have also said that they will use the seeds distributed by the municipality in a systematic way and increase production.
