MP Bista’s emphasis on state confiscation of undisclosed assets

Kathmandu. The Secretary and Member of Parliament of the main opposition party CPN (UML) Gokarn Bista has requested the government to make a legal arrangement to investigate the assets of those in high positions since 2046.

While participating in the discussion on the policies and programs presented by the government for the next financial year in the House of Representatives meeting on Wednesday, he also alerted the government to investigate the assets of those in high positions so that the assets that have not been disclosed or taxes have not been paid will be confiscated. Secretary Bista also pointed out the need for the state to confiscate the undisclosed assets of those in high positions to control corruption.

Secretary Bista said that the policies and programs of the government should be revised as they do not realize the seriousness of the country. Secretary Bista also claimed that the policies and programs brought by the government cannot address the needs of the country.
