
Kathmandu . On Monday, the second trading day of the week, NEPSE index increased by normal points.
The NEPSE, which increased by 5 points on Sunday, closed the business with an increase of normal points on Monday as well. On Monday, the NEPSE index increased by 8.10 points to 1891.31 points. Similarly, the sensitive index has increased by 0.54 points, the float index by 0.53 points and the sensitive float index by 0.01 points.
34 lakh 95 thousand 752 shares of 272 companies traded on Monday were traded worth 1 billion 27 billion 87 lakh 4 thousand 726 rupees. Compared to Sunday, the turnover on Monday has decreased. During the year, there was a purchase and sale worth 1 billion 600 million 492 thousand rupees.
Out of the 13 subgroups of NEPSE, the indices of 11 subgroups increased on Monday. Similarly, the index of 2 subgroups has decreased. In which the production and processing sub-group index increased by 2.44 percent and the hotel and tourism sub-group index increased by 1.52 percent. But since then, trade has decreased by 0.99 percent and the index of banking sub-group has decreased by 0.02 percent.
As the NEPSE index rose, a company’s shares were traded at a positive circuit level on Monday. In which the shares of self-sustaining microfinance were traded at a positive circuit level. Similarly, the share price of Unilever Nepal increased by 7.01 percent and the share price of Goodwill Finance increased by more than 6 percent.
But since then, the share price of Greenlife Hydropower has decreased by 7.37 percent. On Monday, the shares of Shivam Cements Company worth 73.4 million rupees were traded.
