
Kathmandu. Auditor General Tankamani Sharma has said that he has no right to take action against his employees who have bad and corrupt behavior.
In Friday’s meeting of the Public Accounts Committee of the Parliament, he asked to amend the Civil Service Act so that only the Auditor General’s Office has the right to appoint and take action in the offices under him.
Stating that the government audit is done by government employees from the year 2062, he demands to amend the law so that it ends.
Auditor General Sharma said that it would be appropriate to arrange for the Auditor General to take action against his employees.
He also drew the attention of the government and the Public Accounts Committee to point out the relevant agencies for corruption.
