The Federal Education Act will be passed by this session of Parliament


Kathmandu. The Federal Education Act is going to be passed in the current session of the Parliament.

In the policy and program for the financial year 2080/081 presented by President Ramchandra Paudel on Friday, it was made clear that the Federal Education Act will be passed in the current session of the Parliament.

The government has also said that it will conduct a contemporary review of the school curriculum and ensure that textbooks are available at the beginning of the academic session every year.

Likewise, it is also mentioned that all kinds of scholarships in the education sector will be distributed through a one-door system. It is also mentioned in the policy and program presented by President Paudel that a high level education commission will be formed to solve the problems seen in higher education and give concrete suggestions.

Similarly, it is also included that the targeted scholarship for the poor will be expanded, the midday meal program will be expanded, and a special package will be arranged to make the teaching profession dignified and attractive.
