Kathmandu. Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RASWPA) MP Shishir Khanal has said that the budget of the education sector should not be reduced in the next financial year’s budget.
Speaking to the media after the meeting of the House of Representatives on Thursday, MP Khanal said that the budget of the education sector should not be reduced in the next financial year’s budget.
He said that it would be unfortunate if the ceiling of the budget was reduced by 20 percent in the ministry. He mentioned that if the quality of public education is to be improved, more than 100 billion budget is needed this year alone.
Similarly, while talking to the media, RSVP MP Manish Jha commented that the Prime Minister’s Q&A with MPs was like watching a match-fixing game. He said that good practice has started by answering questions and said that it is necessary to improve the practice.
Raswap MP Virajbhakt Shrestha said that the Prime Minister did not answer some questions. He said that it is a cultured practice for the Prime Minister to answer questions with the MPs.
He expressed his displeasure by saying that the first question and answer had to be done by suspending the rules.
