All stakeholders should be serious about improving educational quality: Minister Sharma


Kathmandu. Rekha Sharma, Minister of Communication and Information Technology and Spokesperson of the Government of Nepal, said that all stakeholders should be serious about improving the quality of education.

Participating in the 64th Foundation Day program of Phulchoki Secondary School located in Godavari Municipality-14 of Lalitpur, Minister Sharma emphasized that the local people’s representatives should make an effective plan for improving the quality of education.

He said, “People’s representatives of the municipality who have come with a goal, they have improved the educational quality of school education. In some cases, the parents are complaining that it is even worse. It is necessary for all local level people’s representatives to make an effective plan to improve the quality of education.

Minister Sharma emphasized on the need to increase the use of information technology to improve educational quality. He urged everyone to be aware of the danger of misuse of information technology among school level students. With the recent change in awareness in the society, Minister Sharma mentioned that it is positive that the trend of making public schools better and educating their children in them is positive, and the leaders of the society need to work harder on this.

“At one time, it was believed that only children of the poor study in public schools, gradually the attraction towards public schools is increasing, it should be further increased,” he said.

Dipendra Shrestha, chairman of the school management committee, informed that there are currently 1,258 students studying up to class 12 in the school established in 2016 under the leadership of left-wing leader Dil Bahadur Shrestha.
